Bended Knee

I fear none but 
the One who makes
the sun to light the day
And yet I bow
before my fears
as if they would hold sway
I know the goodness
of my God
whose love is given free
And yet I give allegiance
to the demons
inside me
O wretched man
I know I am
I fail to do what’s right
And yet the grace 
of God my God
does daily save my life
Give me eyes
to see you Lord
and holy live this day
Let me not
be drawn toward sin
nor quickly led astray 
May I bow
before you only
on humble bended knee
Remake my heart
to be as yours
Let me love as you love me
